Microsoft will soon add group video calling feature to its Skype mobile app for Android, iOS and Windows 10

Microsoft’s Skype team marking its 10-year anniversary 10-year anniversary, Microsoft’s Skype team on Tuesday declares the launch of its group video calling feature to everyone. Skype group video calls will be available to all the users on Android, iPhone, iPad and Windows 10 Mobile. Skype already supports group video calls. But only for those who opted for Skype for Business. However, nowadays the video calling feature is easy to get available in to non-subscribers as well.

The feature can be used free of cost and will be rolled out to user in the ‘coming weeks’. However, for those Users want to preview the group calling feature need to sign-up by offers several details. The Skype group video calling service allows to 25 users can share a video call on desktop.

Gurdeep Pall Singh, the Global Corporate Vice President of Skype in the organization blog post said that since the launch of Skype video, user over the globe have delighted in about 2 trillion minutes of free video calls.

“Indeed, with that measure of time, you can utilize Skype to read to each child on the planet for 10 hours, each family can be as one over Skype for over 7 hours there’s still time left for the whole world’s workforce to have 60 minutes in length meeting through Skype,” he said.
