Android 7.0 Nougat first will come in LG V20 smartphone

The smartphone will be launched in september, apart from Nexus, LG V20 will be first Android 7.0 Nougat smartphone.

LG Electronics Inc, a South Korean company said on Monday, it plans to start selling a new selling a new premium smartphone from September, and hoping that business will recover from disappointing sales.

LG said its V20 device, is dominant to V10 that were went on sale in October last year, V20 will be first device to run on Google’s latest version of its Android mobile operating system called Nougat at launch. The company did not disclose further details on the V20.

The company had two main premium phone series and G5 phone, launched in March, has faces a weaken sale sue to initial production difficulties. As a result the company has faces straight loss in the fifth quarter of operating loss for April-June.

The company expected that launch of new product will up lift sale in the third quarter which is successor to V10 launched in last week. Competitors also launching new devices into the market soon while Samsung will reveal its next Galaxy Note smartphone on Wednesday and Apple are going to launch new iPhones in September.

Android 7.0 Nougat is expected to launch in next month. Google had recently announced the final developer preview with final Android N APIs and latest security updates. To understanding behavior and preferences preview also offered for Android N emulator. It offers new features such as updated camera app, streamlined notification centre and improved Doze mode.

Android 7.0 Nougat coming first with LG V20, the South Korean company is aim to reach to large pool of audience but it is unclear whether the device will come with company’s own UX on top of it. It is also unlikely that V20 will launch in India considering the fact that LG never made V10 available to Indian customers.
