The company is the US start-up formed by engineers who formerly worked at Space X, Google, and other technological companies.
In the beginning, these drones will be used to deliver blood, plasma to hospitals across rural western Rwanda. It will be paid by health department of Rwanda on the basis of each delivery. According to the company there is no much difference of cost between the traditional and drone delivery.
They will be flying below 500ft to avoid the airspace used by passenger planes. Having an operational range of 150km they can fly twice that distance in reality. They are powered by a nose-mounted battery and use GPS to locate places.
