Singapore: Lee Hsien Loong, Singapore Prime Minister came to India on Monday for his five days visit to discuss on bilateral ties areas including trade and investment.
Lee Hsien Loong will arrive with his wife Ho Ching, some senior officials and a key Minister.
During visit to India he will be hosted for lunch by PM Narendra Modi and later on they will initiate talk on bilateral ties, ways to tighten ties between the two countries.
Both leaders will share an MOU on cooperation in industrial property between the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, and Singapore’s Intellectual Property Office tomorrow.
Rather than that two more MOUs will be share first on cooperation on establishment of a North East Skills Centre in Assam between the Assam Government and the Institute of Technical Education Education Services and other will be share on cooperation in skills development between the National Skill Development Corporation and Singapore’s Institute of Technical Education Education Services.
Lee will also invited by President Pranab Mukherjee to attend a greeting for Singaporeans based in India. Lee will invite by Sushma Swaraj, External Affairs Minister.
Lee Hsien Loong’s allocations would include, Senior Minister of State, Ong Ye Kung, Minister of Trade and Industry S Iswaran, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Maliki Bin Osman, Acting Minister of Education and Senior Minister of State for Defence, the External Affairs Ministry said.
Vikram Nair and Denise Phua Members of Parliament also became part of the allocation.
The Prime Minister of Singapore during his visit he will visit to Udaipur in Rajasthan on 5-6 October. He will be host by State Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje to host him for lunch.
Lee will attend event to launch of Centre of Excellence for Tourism Training as part of skills development collaboration under the India-Singapore Strategic Partnership signed in November 2015 during his visit to Udaipur.
Along with this he will be present at the signing of an MOU on cooperation on tourism and urban solutions between Rajasthan Government and Singapore’s International Enterprise.
State government and Singapore’s Cooperation Enterprise will signed an accord on Capacity Building Programme in tourism and hospitality.
Lee visited to India in December 2012 to be present at the ASEAN-India Commemorative Summit.
