Vodafone has already launched its high-speed 4G services in Kerala. The company said that in a statement, the intensity of its launched will continue with major metros like Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore and Delhi to be launched by March 2016.
The India’s second biggest telecom company in terms of subscribers is now offering 3G services in Delhi and Mumbai. Vodafone will progressively roll out its services to important metros Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Kolkata in the first stage. Testing of 4G services in these locations has been started successfully.
We want our consumers to be 4G-ready so that they can start understanding the benefits of high-speed mobile internet services as soon as they are released commercially. Hence, this facility to upgrading to 4G-ready SIMs in advance, said Ishmeet Singh, Mumbai.
He said the company is excited and fully geared up to launch 4G services on the superior 1800MHz band in Mumbai very soon. In the past few months, Vodafone has invested significantly in modernizing its existing network, incorporating the newest advances in technology making it more energy efficient.
The Vodafone Company is also creating special arrangements of home delivery of 4G-ready SIMs for its premium high-value customers in Mumbai and there has been a formal communication sent out to all these customers with extra details of the initiative, the statement said.
