Ontario has introduced the bill that announce October as Hindu Heritage Month

Toronto: A bill has been introduced in the regional assembly in Toronto, as Hindu Heritage Month will celebrate annually in Ontario region of Canada that declares in October.

Ontario is a place where more than 700,000 Indo-Canadians lives.

Introducing the bill in the Ontario assembly in Toronto, Joe Dickson, who is a Member of the regional Parliament (MPP), said Joe Dickson, is a Member of the regional Parliament (MPP), instituting the bill in the Ontario assembly in Toronto said, “Declaring October month as Hindu Heritage, Ontario is getting overwhelmed by the ace contributions of Hindu Canadians have made to political, social, religious, cultural and economic foundation.”

In the 20th century, Hindus initiate to emigrate in Canada, Dickson said. Since them they have made big contribution to all parameters of country such as business, medicine, education, sports and culture.

He said, “Hindu communities creates such feverish environment to live and we proud to have them in our country.”

Dickson said, October will add more happiness in the life of Hindus.

He said, “The October month is of Durga Puja, and Diwali a most important festivals of them.”

Dickson said, “Once the bill is passed it will give enormous opportunity to convey their role in the society worldwide.”

It’s more interesting to hear the Ontario assembly recently passed to announce October as Islamic Heritage Month.

Aging April is already declared as Sikh Heritage Month in Ontario.

January is also announced as Tamil Heritage Month in Canada.

More than 1.2 million Indo-Canadians are living in the country.
