Volvo and its Chinese owner Geely are getting ready to produce and export more premium cars to worldwide market.
Volvo recently introduced upgraded versions of its S90 sedan range. It will be produced fully in China and is for export. This step shows increasing trust in its Chinese production base.
A super luxury version of the car has a touchscreen console, with place to keep footwear underneath. CEO of Volvo Haken told media that the company has a stable production base in China and it is all set to grow further in the market.
The new plant of the company will manufacture Volvo’s new 40 series based on CMA platform which is being used in Lynk & Co vehicles too.
