Taliban fighters entered into Kunduz city in northern Afghan

KUNDUZ: A senior city police official said Taliban fighters have increased their activities in the northern city of Kunduz overnight attack the city by surrounding and entered.

Sheer Ali Kamal, commander of the 808 Tandar police zone in Kunduz said, the attack stats approx at the midnight and it still continue in and surrounding city.

He said, “We are trying our best to return them back”

Kunduz region which is cut down momentarily to the Taliban a year ago and repeated attack outburst to heavy fighting and seriously vulnerable in April.

Five Taliban fighters seen with armed AK-47 assault rifles, rocket-propelled grenades and machines guns in the city, Reuters reported.

The Taliban have set their operations in different part of the region and attack rose in it. It was included the strategic southern region of Helmand, where they have hostile the provincial capital of Lashkar Gah.
