Caller ID and Photo Upload Features—Yahoo Mail App

Are you a regular Yahoo mail user? Then, this is something you should know about. Recently, Yahoo has rolled out photo upload and Caller ID features for its Yahoo mail app.

If you receive a call from an unknown number, no need to worry as this new Caller ID feature of yahoo mail will show up who is calling even if you don’t have the number. Yahoo Mail utilizes contact data from emails. The contact name will be displayed on the screen as soon as you receive a call and subsequently, Yahoo Mail will update the name in the call log or whenever you dial the number.

To make this feature functional, all you have to do is go to Setting in the yahoo Mail app on your Android or iOS, then select Phone, further to the “Call Blocking and Identification,” and at last tap the button for Yahoo Mail and do save these settings.

To use the photo upload feature, go to Settings, and then to the Photo upload and pin the toggle for “Upload photos.” Once this feature is enabled in your app, your latest camera roll pictures will be right away accessible when using the Yahoo Mail account on your desktop.

These new features are available in the update for Yahoo Mail app in the Google Play and App Store.

So, this feature will definitely be of great use. What do you think? Do share your experience after using these updates.
